Project 13: Quang Lap - Opened on September 6, 2004.

On August 2nd, Care to Help began construction of our first school project. Quang Lap village is an ethnic minority village that had no school available for their youngest children, roughly preschool to 3rd grade. They asked us if we could help them with a school. CTH was able to strike a historic agreement with the local government: CTH would build the school, the government would provide the teacher, and the village will handle all maintenance and utilities. As a result, schooling is free for the kids of the village.

Funding for this school has been gladly provided by the R.M. Watson Co. in appreciation of its friends and clients:

Larry and Sherri Benaroya, The Benaroya Company
Steve Malsam, Wakefield Homes
Len Evans, The Evans Company
